Escondido has been called the “Hidden Valley” of San Diego, located just 30 miles northeast of Downtown San Diego. Historic Downtown


Friday nights from April through October, in historic downtown, Escondido hosts Cruis’ Grand, a blast to the past featuring pre- ‘70s vintage cars and music all in the center of Grand St. Treat yourself to fine local goods at the every Tuesday Farmers Market; where you’ll find fresh flowers, locally grown fruits and vegetables, honey, and other great handmade items. Twice a year the Escondido Street Fair comes to town for a full day of live entertainment, over 700 booths, arts/crafts, international food, and fun for the whole family.

Boating & Fishing


reidy-creekEscondido is also home to three large lakes; Lake Hodges, Lake Dixon, and Lake Wohlford. All within a few miles of the Escondido RV Resort these are great places to spend the day with activities from boat rentals, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and perfect for family pic-nics. Daley Ranch provides great hiking and horse back riding trails.
