Friday nights from April through October, in historic downtown, Escondido hosts Cruis’ Grand, a blast to the past featuring pre- ‘70s vintage cars and music all in the center of Grand St. Treat yourself to fine local goods at the every Tuesday Farmers Market; where you’ll find fresh flowers, locally grown fruits and vegetables, honey, and other great handmade items. Twice a year the Escondido Street Fair comes to town for a full day of live entertainment, over 700 booths, arts/crafts, international food, and fun for the whole family.
Boating & Fishing
Escondido is also home to three large lakes; Lake Hodges, Lake Dixon, and Lake Wohlford. All within a few miles of the Escondido RV Resort these are great places to spend the day with activities from boat rentals, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and perfect for family pic-nics. Daley Ranch provides great hiking and horse back riding trails.
