Do you offer Wifi? Is it free?
Yes, we have Wifi available at our resort. We offer a 3-day complimentary service with basic speeds, perfect for checking emails or surfing the web. If you would like to upgrade your internet speeds you can select our premium service.
What are your rates?
Our rates are based on your length of stay, the size of the space, and the location within the resort. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Call (866) 477-6153 or find us on LiveChat.
Do you offer full hook-ups?
All of our 125 sites offers: water, sewer, expanded cable tv, 30/50 amp electric, and trash service. Extended stay rates are plus metered electric.
Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45ft RV?
Unfortunately we do not have pull-thru spaces, but all of our spaces offer easy back in access. We can certainly accommodate a 45ft RV. Some of our larger sites are in excess of 75ft. with beautiful views.
Do you have group rates?
Yes. We can accommodate small groups of 10 or less that don’t need kitchen and meeting room facilities. Our resort has a beautiful Club House however limited to the number of guests and lacks kitchen facilities that are often needed by groups. Are you close to shopping and dining?
We are less than 1/4 mile in either direction from two VONS grocery stores, 24 hour pharmacy, pet store, local eateries such as Killer Pizza From Mars (a galactic twist and really great pizza), Lourdes (our staff’s favorite Mexican joint for lunch), Hungry Bear Cafe (hands down biggest and best subs you’ve ever eaten), Starbucks, Safari Coffee, IHOP, and many others.
Do you accept pets? Are there restrictions?
Yes. We are pet-friendly. We supply pet waste bags and have 2 dog walk areas. One is a new enclosed off leash 1/3-acre park. The limit is 2 pets per site and we do not allow any aggressive breeds. Please contact our Front Desk Staff if you have additional questions regarding our pet policy.
Do you have a heated pool?
Yes. We have a year round heated pool that is maintained at 84 degrees F. Our spa is also open year round and is maintained at 102 degrees F. The pool and spa hours are from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week year round.
Do you sell propane?
Yes. We offer external tank refill service 7 days a week between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you leave your propane tank at the front of your site; our maintenance team will pick it up and deliver it back to your site full. We also offer propane service from the dispenser. Delivery service to your motorhome that does not have external tanks is also available. Weekly during the winter and bi-weekly in the summer.
When is check-in time? Check-out time?
Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.
Do you have restrictions on the type of RV or what year it is?
Yes. All RV’s must be fully self-contained, and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. The RV must be clean, rust free, no broken windows, and if motor powered – running. Tarps on roofs, duct tape and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The RV must be 10 years or newer. Sorry, no tent camping.
Can I have a campfire?
Unfortunately no. Local City ordinance does not allow this for your safety with RV’s and propane gas in the vicinity. However, barbecues are welcome.
Are you a membership resort? How long can I stay?
No. We are non-membership, non-ownership. We offer daily, weekly, and extended stay rates. There are no restrictions on your length of stay as long as you stay within Resort guidelines and follow our rules and regulations.
Do you offer discounts?
Escondido RV Resort offers a 10% discount off of our daily rate for; Active Duty Military and Good Sam. A valid ID card must be presented at check-in to obtain these discounts. Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates.
Can I reserve a specific site?
No unfortunately we can only guarantee a specific site type. We do not assign your site number until the day of arrival. We would be happy to make note of any requests you have on your reservation and will do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you have a laundry facility?
Yes. We offer an on-site, clean and well-maintained laundry facility with front load washers and dryers. Quarters are available at the Front Desk.
How do I get there? Directions?

Do you offer RV storage?
We have a limited amount of space for long term RV storage. Please contact the Front Desk for availability. We also can provide local recommendations if we can’t accommodate your needs.
Do you have casino’s close by?
We have several top rated casinos within a short drive from Escondido RV Resort: Pala Casino, Valley View Casino, and Harrah’s Rincon Casino.
Do you offer rentals?
No. We do have several RV rental companies that we can recommend that would deliver the RV to your site. Please check with our Front Desk Staff for more information.
What is your cancellation policy? What is your reservation change policy?
In order to change or cancel a reservation you need to do so 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for one night’s site charge plus tax. Over Holiday periods in order to change or cancel a reservation you need to do so 72 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the entire stay. For extended stay reservations in order to change or cancel a reservation you need to do so within 10 days of arrival to avoid losing your security deposit of $200.00
Do you offer activities?
We provide monthly activities as well as many area activities that are available and provided through local venues. Please visit our resort newsletter for additional information.
Only one RV per site. All passenger vehicles must be parked on the site or in designated guest parking areas. All alphabetical parking spaces are assigned “paid” parking spaces and not available without contacting our Front Desk. All illegally parked vehicles are subject to tow.
Proof of current RV registration and insurance is required for all RV’s staying on a monthly basis. Resort speed limit is 5 mph. Please drive slow and safe.
