Do you offer Wifi? Is it free?
Yes, we have Wifi available at our resort. We offer a 3-day complimentary service with basic speeds, perfect for checking emails or surfing the web. If you would like to upgrade your internet speeds you can select our premium service.
What are your rates?
Our rates are based on your length of stay, the size of the space, and the location within the resort. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Call (616) 648-8515.
Do you offer full hook-ups?
All of our 127 sites offers: water, sewer, expanded cable TV, 30/50 amp electric, and trash service. Extended stay rates do not include metered electric. Stays 31 days or longer you will be required to pay a separate electric bill.
Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45ft RV?
Unfortunately we do not have pull-thru spaces, but all of our spaces offer easy back in access. We can certainly accommodate a 45ft RV. Some of our larger sites are in excess of 75ft. with beautiful views.
Do you have group rates?
Yes. We can accommodate small groups of 10 or less that don’t need kitchen and meeting room facilities. Our resort has a beautiful clubhouse, however, it is limited to the number of guests and lacks kitchen facilities often needed by bigger groups. If you are looking for group accommodations with 10 or more RVs and/or need additional facilities, please contact our other Sunland locations. Are you close to shopping and dining?
We are less than 1/4 mile in either direction from two VONS grocery stores, 24 hour pharmacy, pet store, local eateries such as Killer Pizza From Mars (a galactic twist and really great pizza), Lourdes (our staff’s favorite Mexican joint for lunch), Hungry Bear Cafe (hands down biggest and best subs you’ve ever eaten), Starbucks, Safari Coffee, IHOP, and many others.
Do you have a heated pool?
Yes. We have a year-round heated pool that is maintained at 84 degrees F. Our spa is also open year-round and is maintained at 102 degrees F. The pool and spa hours are from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week year round.
Do you sell propane?
Yes. We offer external tank refill service 7 days a week between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you leave your propane tank at the front of your site; our maintenance team will pick it up and deliver it back to your site full. We also offer propane service from the dispenser. Delivery service to your motorhome that does not have external tanks is also available. Weekly during the winter and bi-weekly in the summer.
When is check-in time? Check-out time?
Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.
Do you have restrictions on the type of RV or what year it is?
Yes. All RVs must be fully self-contained, and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. Your RV must be clean and rust-free, with no broken windows, and if motor powered, running. Tarps on roofs, duct tape and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The RV must be 10 years or newer. Sorry, no tent camping. There are exceptions to this rule; please contact the resort manager if you think your RV qualifies.
Can I have a campfire?
Yes, propane barbecue and propane firepits are allowed. Firepits or barbecues may not be left unattended at any time. Local City ordinance does not allow wood burning or charcoal fire pits.
Are you a membership resort? How long can I stay?
No. We are non-membership and non-ownership RV resort. We offer daily, weekly and extended stay rates. We have a 6-month extended stay limit. Please inquire with the front desk for seasonal stays.
Do you offer discounts?
Escondido RV Resort offers a 10% discount off of our daily rate for; Active Duty Military and Good Sam. A valid ID card must be presented at check-in to obtain these discounts. Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates.
Can I reserve a specific site?
Escondido RV Resort offer a lock fee to reserve a specific site. We do not assign your site number until the day of arrival. We would be happy to make note of any requests you have on your reservation and will do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you have a laundry facility?
Yes. We offer an on-site, clean and well-maintained laundry facility with front load washers and dryers. Our high quality machines take debit or credit cards only.

Do you have casino’s close by?
We have several top rated casinos within a short drive from Escondido RV Resort: Pala Casino, Valley View Casino, and Harrah’s Rincon Casino.
Do you offer rentals?
No. We do have several RV rental companies that we can recommend that would deliver the RV to your site. Please check with our Front Desk Staff for more information.
What is your cancellation policy? What is your reservation change policy?
- Arrival more than 3 days: 1 night + tax
- Arrival within 3 days or less: 100% of stay
- Arrival more than 7 days: 25% of stay
- Arrival 7 days or less: 100% of stay
- Monthly: $600 deposit
- Nightly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled 3 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
- Weekly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
- Monthly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
- Nightly & Weekly: If changed/modified within 3 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to the guest’s first night will apply
- Monthly: If changed/modified within 7 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to 50% of the deposit will apply
Do you offer activities?
We provide monthly activities as well as many area activities that are available and provided through local venues. Please visit our front office for a list of current activities.
Only one RV per site. All passenger vehicles must be parked on the site or in designated guest parking areas. All alphabetical parking spaces are assigned “paid” parking spaces and not available without contacting our Front Desk. All illegally parked vehicles are subject to tow.
Proof of current RV registration and insurance is required for all RV’s staying on a monthly basis. Resort speed limit is 5 mph. Please drive slow and safe.
Do you have a dump station?
Yes, we have a public dump station. If you are not a current guest with us, for a nominal fee you can dump. Call office for details.
