Yes, our resort is home to Sunland’s largest dedicated RV dog park. The one-third-acre dog park is reserved for guests of Escondido RV park only.
The Nova Van runs completely off solar power, meaning that it does not rely on any external power source. In terms of heating, the van uses diesel to power its heater. A separate diesel tank is located at the backside of a cabinet for easy access. The van does not connect to a water line, but it has two 7-gallon jugs underneath the sink for fresh and grey water.
Guests are welcome to use our shower facilities and enjoy the amenities that Escondido RV resort offers.
You will receive full access to the resort, including:
- Complimentary coffee bar available in the clubhouse
- Restrooms with showers (Available 24 hours a day)
- Pool & Spa Access (8:00am-10:00pm Daily)

- The park, watering station, dog toys, picnic tables, and benches
- McCloud Park adjacent to our resort which provides a children’s playground and walking trail (dogs allowed on leashes)
- 15 piece fire pit set, a s’mores pit, outdoor ping pong table, corn hole and other games
- Complimentary Sangria Tropics night is every Friday and Saturday in the clubhouse 3:00pm-5:00pm
Yes, parking is free when staying in the Nova Van. There will be a reserved “Van Life” parking spot for your vehicle.
The resort is open from 8 am to 5 pm. If you arrive after 5 pm, You will be provided access a lockbox upon arrival after hours.
